Artist-MayteMayte Beltran starts her dance career in Almeria (Spain) when she is 8 years old, doing flamenco and spanish dance, contemporary dance and drama. She also has studied in “Cristina Heeren School” (Seville), “Mario Maya School” (Granada), “Amor de Dios” (Madrid) and “Javier Latorre School” (Cordoba) with Rafaela Carrasco, Belen Maya, Alejandro Granados, Marcos Flores, Milagros Menjibar, Josè Maya, Alfonso Losa, Olga Pericet, Manuel Liñán, Concha Jareño…
She works with Belen Maya, Rafaela Carrasco and Manuel Liñán in a “The Andalucian Ballet, Cristina Hoyos”’s production (Alhambra -Granada-, XIII Bienal de Sevilla). She dances in “Mario Maya company” (Festival de Jerez’04). She is dancer in several companies going around the world (China, Sarajevo…) and takes part in the last film of Carlos Saura “Flamenco, Flamenco”.

She also performs as a soloist in Spain, Morocco, Italy, England, Scotland…, dancing in many “peñas”, privates events and festivals.
Mayte was thrilled to dance as a member of the Javier Latorre Company in the stunning Carlos Saura film “Flamenco Flamenco”.
She creates “Dondeduendes” (Flamenco fusion band) which is performing on Edinburgh Fringe Festival’11 and ’12 and around UK. Also some other Festivals like “Vamos Festival” (Newcastle), “Clonmel Festival” (Ireland). She colaborates with “The Elements Theatre” in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival’12 and other events as a dancer/interpreter.
